Hi all,

Running Oracle’s windows service stop command is the SGA still left in memory? When I do the stop command the Oracle.exe process is gone from the OS’s processes list. So does that mean that Oracle is not running and is completely gone?

Thank you in advance.

If you stop the service the whole Oracle instance goes including SGA.
