Hi,

Can you please outline the correct sequence for shutting down and the correct sequence for starting up the various components of 10g Grid Control: database, oms, listener, agent, apache, etc

Order should be listener, repository database, apache, oms and the agent.

BTW, in 10.2.0.3 it's done for you automatically (Automated Startup Scripts).

Thanks for that - just to confirm I have got it right

Order for startup is
listener => repository database => apache => oms => agent

and the order for shutdown will be the other way round:
agent => oms => apache => database => listener
