Cant Connect to database thru Standalone Oracle Enterprise Manager [message #215630]

Hi,

I am trying to connect to a database thru Oracle Enterprise Manager Standalone with no success. In the database tree i am seeing the available databases , from TNSNAMES, i select the database that i want to connect. Then when i am typing user name and password i press OK button in Database Connect Information with no success. No error nothing !!!

You may want to check for any logs in $ORACLE_HOME/sysman/log and consider Activating Logging and Tracing.

That error message doesn't help much. Some questions though:

* Can you confirm what version of OEM and what platform you are using?
* Has this ever worked for you?
* Can you connect to the database with SQL*Plus?
* Can you delete/rename the OEM logs and then ensure that there are no OEM java processes running and then post the logs created when you relaunch OEM and try to connect?

1.Oracle Enterprise Manager Version 9.2.0.1.0
Client has Windows XP, Server Linux Red Hut
2.No is the first time that we trying to work
3.With SQL Plus, TOAD & PLSQL Developer i connect to database without any problem
4.I clear the logs, check the processes and still there is a problem
