Hi

I was trying to install Oracle 9i 9.2.0.1 but when i click on setup.exe nothing happens but when i run it through command prompt it works and i am able to install oracle.

I want to know why setup does not start when i click on setup.exe.

Perhaps because you should have double-clicked on it? /forum/fa/1704/0/

I'm just kidding, this probably isn't the case.

What happens when you click it once (so that setup.exe turns blue) and press <Enter>?

What happens if you run it through Start - Run - d:\setup.exe (or whichever path it is)?

I really don't see a reason why wouldn't it start ...
