We have recently renamed our internal domain. I can now no longer user oracle database control on oracle 10. Which settings do I need to change in order to connect?

I have tried the <<ipaddress:1158\em>>

and the new domain name but neither work.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Duncan

Hi Duncan,

do following to recreate you repository and normaly you DBConsole is working again.

Set the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID environment variables and then run the following command:

<ORACLE_HOME>/bin/emca -config dbcontrol db -repos recreate
