Hi,
i am using Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production

i have created database with
db_domain = WORLDS
db_name = MCLAIMS2
service_names = MCLAIMS2.WORLDS
instance_name = MCLAIMS2

In order to connect ths database through Weblogic i put the
service name in the consol of weblogic updating the SystemParamers file.

however since my service names contains "." the conection is refused by Weblogic.

i tried with other 2-3 databases which do not have "." in their service names, they connected properly.

can i change the service name of my database - by changing db_domain value etc.

Please suggest and help.

Thanks in advance
Pratap
