Database Version 9.2.0.5.0
DBSNMP for HPUX: Version 9.2.0.5.0 - Production

Problem: VP$DBA tables not being purged and my repository is growing to fast.
What is to be done?

i don't know that there is a table named vp$dba$! or idont understand.

but you ask V$DBFILE , V$DBLINK , V$DB_CACHE_ADVICE V$DB_OBJECT_CACHE , V$DB_PIPES or others. these are i remember now beginning with db.

and if the problem is that growing cache, query V$CACHE table and also V$DB_CACHE_ADVICE.

But now I know the right answer.

Check Metalink for the patch that is referenced below.
Capacity Planner must be patched on the workstation or the problem will reoccur.
