How can we create and then use the mangement server in OEM.

i have created one using the oracle enterprise configuration assistant..

and it ask for repository and other things which i gave for the existing database.. but

when i start the console through the managment server
it ask for user name n password.

i use sys/sys as sysdba. it says wrong..

Then in use the username for OEM repository and its password it again says.. wrong..

now what to do...

hope hear from you soon

you should use the sysman account.
and before all, did you read the documentation?
There are a list of prerquisites.

Oracle will not do the name resolutin for you.
You need to have the intelligent agent running on all nodes etc etc etc

start from here.

http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/database10g.html

docs for both 9i and 10g.
also available in
tahiti.oracle.com

You may be challenged with a username/password thingy.
register for free and it is worth it.

you can even download the files in pdf format.
