Hi there,
I'm using oracle 10g on a linux redhat machine.
We've made up an backup schedule at 2am and setup an email notification.
Every night the backup runs I get a
Failed to connect to database instance: ORA-01033: ORACLE initialization or shutdown in progress (DBD ERROR: OCISessionBegin
How could I get rid of this annoying notification, if I do not want to shut down the email notification at all?
