can not find database after I have created a repository [message #68378]

I have created a repository in order to be able to log on to the OMS. This part worked. However, when I create a new database, it is not listed in the OEM when I log on to the OMS. It is listed when I start OEM standalone. THerefore, I have checked the tnsnames.ora but could not find any error.

make sure u have intelligent agent running in all participating nodes.
login to OMS using OEM console
discover the nodes
discover the dataabases.
