I can't seem to get the OEM console started on Oracle 817 on a NT system. I have created the repository and put it in a database on the local system. I have also started the service via the control panel.

The username and password are the defaults and are correct, yet i get the VTK-1000: unable to connect to the management server error message. Any help would be most appreciated.

refer to the logs(oms.log,oms.nohup etc) and post the exact error message.
