Windows NT. Oracle 8.1.7. OEM 2.1

I get the following when I type oemctrl start oms

D:Orant8iBIN>oemctrl start oms
OEMCTRL for Windows NT: Version
Copyright (c) 1998, 2000, Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved.
Starting the Oracle Management Server...Exception in thread "main" java.lang.No

at oracle.sysman.vxa.VxaAppServer.main(VxaAppServer.java:2466)

My guess is that the classpath isn't setup correctly in the registry, but I'm not sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

1. is this NT box applied with servicepack 6a?
2. Make sure, u OMS database / repository is up and
3. Then start OMS.
4. I case of errors, look int logs(OMS.NOHUP etc) for detailed errors.
