Hello

Is it possible to Parallelise Initial Load process in Golden Gate?

We are trying to replicate data from SQL Server 2008 to Oracle 11g R2 and want to optimize the process

I understand the 'Change Synchronization' can be optimized by using multiple extracts, RANGE function, SQLPREDICATE parameter but not while Initial Load as it does not use Checkpoint (sourceistable) also the in 'Trail to Replicat' maxfiles can write to multiple files but that won't be parallelism as replicat will load sequentially only

We have few LOB objects so we are not selecting 'direct load' options however if we get some mechanism we would go for it
even with 'Direct load' method taking care of LOB in later stage

Please suggest any mechanism to speed up the initial load in replication of heterogeneous databases

Thank you

Kind Regards
