I am trying to install Oracle 817 on Win 2k prof box.
I am logged on as admin. I have also installed jdk1.3
When I click on the Setup from the Disk, it wont run.
When I copy all the files from the disk to the hardrive and then try to run setup, it still won't run.
Any comments. Thnx.

To resolve the problem copy all the Oracle CD in a local folder and rename the symantec DLL file into *.old. Then re-run the Oracle setup
