Hai,
Here iam having a Oracle 7.3
Server of 40Gb datafile size.
And it is in non archive log mode.We r taking export backup every day and it is under Sco Unix 5.0.5 and also raid level is 0.
So if any case of crash came we r restoring the backup.But it takes 2 additional days for installing again unix and Oracle and restoring backup.So i want to reduce the time of restoration or can i use another oracle server what which can run parallel to main server and all transaction should get updated parallely (like mirroring).And if any crash occurs in main server i want to bring up the backup server to live as in current position.
Pls send ur solution immd.
